Dr Lianne M. Pino O.D.
Dr. Lianne Pino is a Developmental Optometrist dedicated to treating children and adults with visual skill deficiencies. She has the prestige recognition of being a Fellow of the College of Vision Development. She provides in-depth testing for the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems that often interfere with reading and learning. She is a Miami native that attended Epiphany Catholic School and the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston. Dr. Pino received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1999, with honors in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. She completed her externships at Tallahassee VA Outpatient Clinic, Lake City VA Medical Center and Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Florida Board certification in 1999 and his since been practicing in Miami-Dade County. She earned her Fellowship in Developmental Optometry through the College of Vision Development in 2020. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the College of Vision Development. Dr. Pino understands the needs of patients young and old and is skilled in specific testing and diagnostic tools designed to identify many types of vision-related problems, often seen in people with Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism. Dr. Pino also performs in-depth testing for the diagnosis and treatment of neuro-visual and ocular-motor difficulties and other visual and processing difficulties related to traumatic and acquired brain injuries including accidents, concussion and strokes. When Dr. Pino is not helping her patients see better to live a more fulfilled life, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is the mother of two adult children and loves spending time with them. She enjoys traveling, reading and exercising.
